This ultra-resistant glider chair is handcrafted in FSC-certified hardwood in Canada by our skilled craftsmen. Dutailier's exclusive gliding system with top quality sealed ball bearings provides a smooth and long horizontal gliding motion; which sets us apart from everyone in our category. The glider chair comes with pre-camber seat design with integrated elastic membrane for maximum seating relaxation. Cushions are made of high-density polyurethane foam with polyester fiber for superior lumbar support and to avoid compression for optimal comfort over a long seating time.
Enjoy the added benefit of an exclusive multi-position lock mechanism that allows you to sit back or get up safely while holding a baby in your arms. The 45° reclining backrest mechanism easily activated by the simple pressure of your body, allowing you to rock effortlessly while lying down and the ottoman that provides an extra support to your back and knees as well as your feet when gliding in tandem with your Dutailier glider.

The ottoman is designed to glide in tandem with the chair. Paired with the chair's reclining mechanism, you can achieve the most relaxing lying-down position. Also available with plastic footrest.
Nursing footrest - option
Combined with a Dutailier ottoman, the nursing footrest makes it possible for you to lift your knees, perfectly propping up your lap, reducing lower back pressure and bringing baby in close. When no longer needed, the footrest can be discreetly tucked away.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to wipe off any dust or dirt. If you need to clean a sticky stain, use two rags. Soak one in a solution of dish soap and lukewarm water. Wring out the excess water, then wipe off the stain. Then wipe the entire area again with the dry cloth. For more stubborn stains, we recommend that you use the services of a professional furniture cleaner. The use of the washing machine should always be avoided.

Greatest Chair Ever!In a world that produces things to only last a short while, I’m often disappointed in items I buy. However I purchased my Dutailier glider in 2006 when my son was born. Now 15 plus years later it’s still in great condition and I am so pleased. It’s my favorite chair, I sit in it everyday, and it’s very comfortable, especially with the nursing footstool which pulls out from the ottoman. It’s my reading nook now. No problems with it whatsoever. I was always concerned after a few years it might start squeaking while gliding, but nope, not one squeak in 15 years. The seat cushion I thought for sure would wear out after a few year, but I still have the original cushions and they are still in good condition. Not sure if they still put pockets on either side of the arms, but I love the pockets for the TV remote, and my candy stash in the other. I love it! This is a quality item. After 23 yearsWhen I was expecting my first child I felt that getting a sturdy glider with ottoman would be perfect for our nursery. Indestructible- still works like new seven years laterI have had my glider for seven years now. Two rambunctious boys and a husband hang all over this glider and ottoman. They are not delicate people and it has never shown any wear other than needing to replace the cushions 7 years later. I am amazed, great product.
